Hello everyone! It's the last day of Ramadhan. How are your Hari Raya preparations coming along? :)
I think the girls agree with me that we all wanna look our best during Hari Raya. It's a once a year celebration that we all look forward to. Last Friday, my bestfriend and I paid a visit to Proasis (Bedok outlet) to get our eyelash extensions and hair done. Lol not hair for me. I've decided to keep my long hair intact, for now. I was really super excited because it's been a long time since I had eyelash extensions. =)

Here's how I look without any mascara/falsies.

And here's an after photo. :)
Super love how the extensions were quite soft as compared to the other places I've tried.

Didn't have much photos of myself going through the process because my bestfriend couldn't help me to take pictures as she was busy.....

HIGHLIGHTING HER HAIR.

This girl wanted blond streaks at the sides of her hair. Not exactly the whole hair.

"Tsamina mina eh eh. Waka Waka eh eh"

Inside joke. But maybe you'll get it. LOL ;)

Wah! She was really treated like a princess. They even curled her hair for her!!

Here's a photo of her with her new hair. Pretty!

Next, it was time for her to get eyelash extensions like me! It was really cool because I really get to watch the whole entire process in front of my very eyes.

Here's the ladyboss, Jean.

First they'll put a tape on the bottom lashes to protect your bottom lashes from touching the glue and the extensions.

Look at the black thing next to my bestfriend. Hmm... What is that?!

Those are the eyelash extensions! Cool huh!!

My bestfriend said that her eye was quite painful after that. So here's a tip from me. Remove your contact lenses if your eyes seem to have a reaction after getting extensions done. Let your eyes relax first before using contacts. Eyelash extensions do take a little while to get used to.

So once you have eyelash extensions on, you shouldn't....

Rub your eyes. This will make your extensions grow out of shape.
Use any oil based product near your eyelashes.
Wear mascara or fake eyelashes. (You don't need this! Really!!)
Sleep face down.

Why I really like extensions?

You really don't have to worry about eye make up.

Toner + Moisturiser + BB cream + Powder + Lip gloss and you're good to go!

Also, I like how Proasis's service is rather personalised. The one I used to frequent did my extensions in a rush because they had limited space and it really feels as though they just wanna "get it done and over with". I don't really like that kind of service.

How? You like our extensions too? *Grins widely*

Thank you Jean and Proasis! <3

The one I went to is the Bedok outlet.
All you have to do is to take bus 225W from Bedok Interchange
and alight 2 stops after that. Easily accessible!

If you're thinking of booking, I strongly recommend you book via email (enquiries@proasis.com.sg) because you'll have direct contact with the Jean. She's really friendly!
